Ready to pupate?

So today I was checking on my eleodes mealworms, the oldest are only about two months old, but I found this guy at 1 3/4 INCHES!! Idk if that's normal (I thought it took way longer than that to get to 1 3/4 inches) but since it's an eleodes species (not spinipes, hispilabris, suturalis, obscurus, or caudiferus) is it time to get it to pupate? And if so how do I do that? Thanks! If anyone need pictures to help identify the species or wether it's time for it to pupate , let me know.

Do you have pictures of the adults? If the larvae is about one and a half times the length of an adult, it should be OK to isolate for pupation.

For pupating Eleodes, my go to method is to place larvae in small deli cups with a couple inches of moist, compressed substrate. They'll make a pupal cell at the bottom within a week or two if they are ready to pupate.
