This topic goes out to my favorite pet I have ever owned, a Rat. My Rat is named Britney. Their intelligence for a small mammal is incredible and their behavior sometimes can be humorous. They are so easy to take care of, and don't stink up the room. They even clean themselves, however I give her baths every month. I would recommend purchasing a Rat as a family pet, as they are a loving creature.
