Raising Eleodes spinipes

Inle

Pupa
I let my 5 year old son rear a superworm from the pet store and he really liked it and it was interesting except for the part when my 3 year got a hold of it before it was dry and now its elytron kind of looks like crinkled paper... I was thinking of trying some Eleodes spinipes. Any tips on caring for them before they become beetles or is it pretty much the same as the superworm. I tried to find some information on the internet but there didn't seem to be much on raising these meal worms.

I got out my guide to raising darkling beetles book and it says that spinipes is hard to get to the adult stage. That the prepupa require a "minimally humid environment". What exactly is minimally humid? Like 30%?

I have spinipes right now, I am just treating them like the rest of my meal/super/darkling worms.

I have some craft/tackle boxes, the clear divided ones. One worm in each space and the space has oats, fish food, hermit crab food, cat food, cricket food, and a piece of carrot.

I didn't know about the spinipes humidity, hopefully someone on here will know.
