Hello everyone i need some help.
Im totally new to the care of beetles and insects in general. I bought a flower beelte larvae a couple of months ago and he/she made a pupa cell somewhere between begin september and mid of october. When i found him in his cell he was shaking and vibrating like crazy like i could hear him for underneath the dirt. So since the box he was in was quite small, i decided to put him in a larger terrarium and put him right underneath the surface of dirt. this was all last thursday. Now this week wednesday i decided to check on him and he had a few mites on the ouside of his cell. I decided to put his cell in another container on a paper towel so that i could have the time to change his enclosure substrate (i put the substrate in the freeze which takes around 2 days to get all the parasites out). So now today i took him back in his enclosure mite free. Now since wednesday he was silent like no movement at all. Not when i picked him up to move him, not when i put him back he was just complete silent. So now im worried he might have died due to moving him last week but i have no way of knowing it.
So i came here to ask around and ofc tips on how to take proper care of this stage.
