Pterostichus breeding project

Dynastes
I caught a few Pterostichus sp a couple weeks ago, and they have been reproducing! They laid eggs in coconut fiber mixed with sawdust, many of them have hatched, and I am now trying to rear the larva. The larva are eating pre-killed mealworms, and have moist coconut fiber as their substrate. Here are some pictures!

Here are some pictures of a L2 larva (or L3, very hard for me to tell):

These guys have been doing quite well on pre-killed mealworms. I have ten larva left, fingers crossed that I can rear some to adulthood and get a second generation going!
