Protaetia speciosa jousselini

I have 6 Protaetia speciosa jousselini L1 and L2. i keep them in two boxes with 3 in each but now i see there are only 2 left in one box and found one dead in the other box.
how can that be? I use flake soil I bought.

could they think of eating each other?

Yea wrong forum lol. I always separate larvae of any kind in deli cups. I was curious what flake soil you are using? You should have a good amount of decaying leaf litter in the substrate.
