Pea Protein Isolate

I use soy protein, bob's red mill or something. It's a little expensive but I go through it slowly. I've also been eyeing hemp protein additive. A lot cheaper, I'm just always scared to try new things in this hobby.

Cool! Looks like Bob's Red Mill Soy Protein will do the trick. And, according to their website, there's a distributor a few miles away from me.

Thank you, Muddymire!

Haven't used it, yet. I'm experimenting with making my own beetle jelly and am just getting my ingredients lined up.

Cheers

I have had issues with mites. In some containers. I find composting the substrate longer makes a significant impact though. Thoroughly mixing. With larvae I think it's important for their development. Future horns, black spots, blah blah blah. Dog food, other larvae, I suppose could be adequate substitutes. The Japanese rhinoceros I'm keeping are pushing 45g. Anything proven... Not a thing. Some companies in Japan ferment 3x, supposedly. I have yet to try it with the stags.
