Pasimachus sp. subtrate depth?

I got a Pasimachus sp. beetle a couple of days ago and I've read that cocofiber/sand mixture is good for substrate for them but I can't find any information on how deep it should be. I currently have it housed on about an inch of moist cocofiber until I can buy some sand (ironic since I live at the beach, lol) with a corkbark hide and a very shallow water dish. I see that it spends time buried so I'm sure that's not deep enough. I'd appreciate any advice on the substrate and how often to feed also.Should it be fed every day? I have all sizes of B. laterelis, so far it's eaten a medium lat and an unidentified mealworm out of my desert beetle tank.

I'd make the substrate two inches deep if I were you, though honestly one inch should be fine.

I feed mine every two days, you can feed them more often if you want though, just give it as much as it will eat really, and be sure to remove leftovers in a timely matter.

Great, with a mix of sand that will be just about right then. I had been thinking feeding every 2 days was good but wasn't sure, and I do pick out leftovers the next day but it sure cleans it's meal right out...not much to pick out, lol. Thank you.
