I got a Pasimachus sp. beetle a couple of days ago and I've read that cocofiber/sand mixture is good for substrate for them but I can't find any information on how deep it should be. I currently have it housed on about an inch of moist cocofiber until I can buy some sand (ironic since I live at the beach, lol) with a corkbark hide and a very shallow water dish. I see that it spends time buried so I'm sure that's not deep enough. I'd appreciate any advice on the substrate and how often to feed also.Should it be fed every day? I have all sizes of B. laterelis, so far it's eaten a medium lat and an unidentified mealworm out of my desert beetle tank.
