Newly emerged Hercules Beetle...Elytra deformed.

So this is my first time trying to raise a beetle from larvae and it's been difficult to find proper care information.  I heard I needed to leave the L3 larvae alone to find a place to pupate and to let them emerge on their own...well my larvae seemed to pupate right on the substrate surface.  And then I found 2 days ago that he emerged on his own, but stuck on his back and after flipping him, his Elytra seem to be deformed.

Is there any hope for his elytra to flatten out and if not, will he be able to survive?  Also does anybody have any good detailed care guide so that I can do this more properly next time?  Its been a struggle to find all the right info I need.

There is really nothing to revert how he came out.

Next time you can make a makeshift pupal cell from floral foam. If you don't have access to floral foam, construct one out of the substrate.

Very sorry this happened to you, after all that hard work and time raising him.

Dang, that is unfortunate, hopefully he can still live for some time.

Do you have any recommended care guides for raising beetle larvaes to adulthood?
