Hi everyone, I'm Shannon and I'm just getting started in the beetle/invertebrates hobby!
I never knew you could keep beetles as pets, but I recently read an article on the hobby in Japan and was absolutely intrigued. I used to catch and keep Junebugs as a kid so raising beetles from larva is super exciting.
I currently have a dynastes tityus and a stag larva from bugs in cyberspace...and I already want more (they're very cute!) I hope I can raise them into awesome adults.
I have one very general dumb question- the larvae I received are L1 or L2 but there was no specification, is there a way to tell the age of the larvae without knowing when they molted or hatched?
