Need hardwood for lamprima adolphinae, any suggestions?

Just wondering what would be best to use for breeding, and is easily/quickly accessible? Already got shredded white rotted flake wood and oak leaves, but i heard I'll need actual wood for them to lay eggs, so can anyone recommend an ideal item or have some available? Thanks!

Lamprima adolphinae prefer very soft wood, so they can also laid eggs into a very compressed substrate. And for this substrate, the leaves are not usefuls for the Lucanidae ; they only need white rotten wood.

I have some white rotten wood logs (a few inches in diameter and several inches long, though they can be cut down) that I’d be willing to sell

"Requiring" woods for Lamprima adolphinae?

Here is a big NO for you.

Just press your substrate hard, and throw beetles into the container with couple jellies (or fruits). They will lay more eggs than you are worried about it. :)

*By the way, this is not the right place for this post.
