Last year I bred my first pair of beetles, a pair of ox beetles, and today I was surprised: my first beetle emerged to adulthood! Not as impressive as his father (see my avatar) but I'm very happy that it emerged safely. I've been quite busy and didn't expect to find a full adult in one of my jars. I'll get better photos later, right now I want to leave them alone. Very happy after such a rocky start with that pair.
