Megalorrhina harrisi

Well, here is the first of my M Harrisi to emerge. She needs a little time to mature but I reckon she's going to be a very nice adult. Here's the question ; I housed them all (10) communally and didn't have a single case of cannibalism. Would anyone like to explain this. I wrote about this on Bugnation in january and was told I hadn't got the ID correct .

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm guessing your name is also Sexpanther; the answer remains the same. Although harrisi is a wide-ranging variable species with multiple subspecies and there are other invertebrates in which closely related populations are cannibalistic versus communal (think Scolopendra subspinipes subspinipes versus the communal Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans) your report runs counter to all previous experiences with this species.
