During shipping, the tip of the horn on my major male rhinoceros beetle cracked off. It is now leaking a white substance. There's probably nothing I could do for him, right? If there is, please let me know. So pissed about this.

I did a beetle expo thing with some of my friends once. and a DHH male at the expo broke it's horn when it tried to escape from the enclosure.

Superglue might work. As it was originally made to seal human wounds (instead of using stitches). It's also been used to help fix dropped trantuals too.

Either way, post up on how things work out and good luck!

Appreciate the tip! I did not seal the horn up at all but he's doing just fine. Luckily he mated with the female and I received a whole bunch of eggs. Pretty stoked!

I've superglued my own minor wounds, repaired broken arachnid legs, managed to repair a leg on my Scolopendra subsinipies but yet to do beetle. If that is of any assurance if you feel the need ever arises.
