Lucanus capreolus

The first lucanid I’ve ever kept is Lucanus capreolus. It’s really all it’s fault I keep beetles today. 
One of my fav Lucanids in the world really. They have a sort of simplistic beauty

So much easier to breed tho… and the pupation period is so much shorter.
