Life Span

Does anyone know the life span of Phileurus valgus? I have had an adult since May and I am wondering how much longer I can expect it to live.

Since they are a type of rhinoceros beetle, the closest I found was Phileurus illatus, so I would say at most two years maybe (?????????). Of couse that depends on how old it was when you found it, because then again, i had a Xyloryctes jamaicensis that lived for only two months, but I don't know how old it was when I found it.

Yeah, I agree with Stag Beetles. Phileurus truncatus can apparently live two years so I'd assume about that long.
