L2 Dynastes tityus larvae for sale

I'm not that good at sexing them. I don't think they have prominent marks as L2s. But, of course. So far, nobody has inquired.

If you reeeeeaaaally wanted to sex them, you could take out your good ol' microscope and check for that speck on one of the abdominal sections, if you know what I mean

Is that...their penis? O:

Haha, I want to learn how to sex them so I know exactly how many males/females I'll be getting.

Also, everyone in this forum seems to know what exact instar they have. Is there like a head size chart for the larvae somewhere?

Or is it pretty obvious what all the instars are just by looking at them?
It's easy to know what instar you have once you've been watching them grow and can noticeably understand the differences..especially raising them from an egg. A year ago, if you asked me, I would have had no clue. But as L1 and L2 they don't spend as long as they do an L3. A couple months as an L1, maybe a few or so as an L2, depending on if they are getting everything they need. But it is generally easy to understand what instar they are in from looking at them and knowing the species you have.

As for sexing, there is a particular mark on the lower part of the abdomen that is prominent on males, I believe. I am still not confident on sexing larvae, but it is more noticeable when they are L3 (obviously, as they grow).
