Keeping a mesh lid on a 10 gallon aqueon rimless tank secure

It fit's on the tank but, I don't know if the clips will keep it secure.

So if anyone could help with keeping it from being loose, it would be very much appreciated. (I'm going to house an adult male Dorcus Titanus Palawanicus in it)

If the substrate is high to the top, and the silicone is on the sides of the tank, they can climb up and escape.

Put something heavy on the lid and you should be ok.

You will lose a lot of moisture with the mesh lid, so keep an eye on the inside of the tank.

Some dorcus love to escape so be careful. I’ve had some males escape a sealed Tupperware container if they can reach the roof. So weigh it down good

Thanks both of you two!

Also I'm going to be using Micro pore tape with the lid, that many mushroom growers use, for humidity.
