Is the beetle hobby dying/dead?

Beetle Forum seems pretty inactive. All of the expos I go to it would be rare to see any kind of rhino beetles, stag beetles, or flower beetles for sale. I do see BDFB for sale often, though. Are people out there actually still keeping? Or is the hobby dying/dead? What is your thoughts?

The hobby has always been small due to the regulations regarding exotics, but it does seem more inactive, at least in this forum.

If you go on Facebook, discord, IG, etc., you will see that the hobby is not only thriving, but bigger than it's been in decades. Definitely just an issue of social media overtaking forums lately. A LOT of exotic beetle species in the US hobby now too, like a crazy amount.

I’ve seen some videos on IG for sure, but it’s mostly overseas keepers. You know of any good US accounts to follow?

I’d think by now I’d be seeing a lot more for sale at expos, but it’s just not the case.

what discords are available? I've been looking but haven't been able to really find anything.

Forums have declined in popularity over the past few years, but the hobby isn’t dying or going anywhere, just like these forums, there will be good years and bad ones.
