Id'ing Lamprima

Hi guys,

just wondering if anyone knows how to tell the difference between Lamprima species, mainly aurata, varians and latrellei.

Of course those species are hard to tell apart just by looking at specimens so who knows what the taxonomist identifying them was thinking. However, latreillei is most recently considered a synonym of aurata. You can find it referenced here: lamprima info
