ID this beetle, please

I dunno... Maybe some sort of darkling beetle? I really can't see too much detail on the beetle. Can you crop out all that sand and give me a tighter shot of the beetle?

Sorry, it was a quick iPhone shot. Here's a cropped version, but it's still blurry. However, it does look like a type of darkling. I've never seen a shiny metallic blue darkling before!

Looks like Miloderes allredi, a type of weevil that lives in desert.
