ID Help

[Dynamic Uno]

I found this guy today at work. Gorgeous colors! But I have no idea what it is. Someone commented on my Facebook feed that it was a type of tiger beetle, but I couldn't find any species native to the area that seemed similar

I've got him in a fasteners container for now until I get him home, then I can get some better pics and maybe a drawing or two

It's a predatory stink bug. Idk on the exact specie though.

You need to enroll your "friend" into an Entomology 101 course if they want to try and ID bugs in the future...I don't know how they got tiger beetle from looking at that stinker....

Haha, thank you guys. And I was confused as well when he told me tiger beetle and I tried finding a match. None of them looked anything like this guy.
