How to make stag beetle substrate with wood pellets

Hello, I'm a newcomer who does not know how to make my own breeding material

In Korea, All the substrate and kinshi and other breeding material were extremely easy to get...

However, since I came to Canada, I've got to make my own now!! When in Rome, follow their laws! lol

So... I have a vague idea how to make the substrate, but not as clear and sure...

1st question : Can I use Alder, or Maple wood pellets instead of oak?

2nd question: What are the exact amounts material, for example, of water, flour and other materials once you are making substrate with 20lb oak pellets?

3. What is the step by step instructions to making the substrate?

Anything else which is critical to beetle breeding, tell me please!!

If you're from western canada try finding white rot wood outside, usually stags like it.
