Going this June for a vacation. Staying for 3 weeks, on Maui. Is there any good locations, or specie types that i should look for?? Doesn't have to be beetles, I'm interested in pretty much everything, lol.

There is one species of stag beetle I know in Hawai (I don't know if there is more).

Apterocychus honoluluensis (Kauai Flightless Stag Beetle)

Oh that's only found on one island and at extremely high elevation. It looks really cool though

According to this website, Kauai flightless stag beetle is the only Lucanidae in Hawaii
