I received a message from this account on Friday here saying that they were gonna sell me some Dynastes tityus. Their information was very vague, and I had to pry every detail out of them in order to get any clarification. They had me talk on Gmail, but their email name didn't match up with their PayPal name. They also said that they were shipping from one state, when their location on PayPal states that they're in another. They sounded very incompetent with their knowledge on the hobby (telling me that they had 9-month-old adults who wouldn't be ready to mate until 3 months from now???). They didn't tell me how they were raised, if they were wild caught or captive bred, where they were sourced from, nor clarified on their inconsistent information. The biggest red flag, however, was the fact that they wanted me to pay them through friends and family on PayPal (they usually do this so you don't get your money back). I sent them an email asking them to verify their product by taking a picture of the beetles next to a handwritten note of their username and the date, but they responded basically saying that I was unreasonable to have asked for the ages of the beetles and location (this is commonly given information to my knowledge??) and didn't address any of the legitimacy concerns I had. I really feel like this person is a scammer, and I'm wondering if anyone here has had any interaction with them?
