Gymnetis caseyi eggs hatching

Very pleased and excited to find that my G. caseyi that I raised from larvae are laying eggs of their own! I wasn't really trying to breed them, but I guess they're not too picky about their setup because last night I found a little larva wriggling in the dirt! Not sure how many more might be in there, but I'm gonna give it two weeks or so and then fish out whatever hatched.

Congrats, hope the little larvae do well for you!

Just took another look at the tank - there's three tiny little larvae visible in there now, and probably more where I can't see them.

Had to swap the flower beetles into another tank to make room for some new arrivals, so the larvae got plunked into a tupperware. There were eleven of the little beasts in there.
