Hi there.

My name is Scott. I've always been into invertebrates, and have been impressed by beetles, but I got absolutely hooked after finding a female Dynastes tityus. At first, she laid 8 eggs, but during my first attempt at a rearing container, I broke ALL the eggs. I was devastated! Luckily, she wound up laying 4 more....1 of which collapsed, but so far I have had 2 hatch and am currently raising those larvae, as well as taking good care of the momma, whom my girlfriend named Hera.

I have a feeling I'm gonna be playing with beetles for a good chunk of my life from now on...

I am new to Dynastes, I have three eggs of granti. Two were either buried and I forgot about it or they hatched

Can't really help you man. I never got to breed the ones I had. They're very cool though, hence why I chose it to be my username!

Had a 3rd tityus hatch out
