Producing substrate takes a very long time. Sometimes we don't have enough time to wait! Extremely greatful that I found a good substrate source that is not foreign.
Below we have some substrate great for raising certain stag beetle and rhinoceros beetle larvae. I will not list the source that I got it from but I will sell some if requested.

Here we have almost 100% composted leaves, suitable for flower beetles. Would be a good filler to mix in with a rotted wood substrate for some rhino beetles. There is visible sand and I do not know if this will be a problem. However, I will test this out with my flower beetle larvae. I will not list the source that I got it from but I will sell some if requested.

And finally, we have the classic white rotted wood. Works very good for most stag beetle species. I collect this myself.
