I've been keeping track of the weights of my 2 male and 1 female goliatus grubs and have been able to see a pattern of weight gain.
The males seem to be gaining 3 grams a week, and the female 2 grams.
My operation- change substrate, wash the grub and feed moistened koi pellets every 3- 4 days, in that period, I feed them one to two
more times. They are at room temp, normally 70 to 73 f.
Should they be growing faster? It was today I realized there was a pattern, my largest male - 42.4. last week he was 39.2, the week before (actually a bit longer than 1 week)
32.7, the others show similar growth. It also seems the larger they are getting, the faster they fatten up-?
