I used a cylinder about 5" or 6" in diameter and filled it with 3 pounds of the red clay, the grub dug down 8 inches.
My grub, however began it's wandering phase at 34.7 grams however, if you have full size grubs, you could
do the math, the caresheet I have says a box of about 6.5 quarts, the dimensions aren't mentioned.
In any event, it's a lot of pupation medium.
