Fruit fly removal

I have a small pachnoda colony but I'm having a huge issue with fruit flies. I have pest netting but they must have gotten into my enclosure before I put it on, now every time I go to spray my little guys a bunch of flies swarm out. How can I get rid of them without hurting my beetles

Sticky fly traps all outside the enclosure. Bring the container outside each time you need to open it to let some of the swarm out.

Are you feeding banana?  Try feeding jelly instead and see if that doesn't help.  And as Ratmosphere said, sticky traps are useful. I also use apple cider vinegar with a piece of fruit in a 20oz bottle with a funnel at the top.

I can second MasterOogway's fruitfly trap. Fruit and apple cider vinegar works like a charm. In the future, changing the fruit offered to your beetles every day will keep the fruit flies away.
