FOUND: Male D. tityus (L3 or Adult)

I was expecting to check on my larvae this week but discovered all but 2  (5 total) have pupated (after dumping the container), so moved them to artificial pupal cells.

All 5 are female, and will be emerging in a few weeks before being put into hibernation.

My remaining two seem far off yet, but I don't like my odds of getting a male.

It seems like others have D. tityus that have emerged or will emerge soon, so if figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

If anyone has a spare fresh male (or late L3 larvae) of any size they are willing to sell or trade for please let me know.

With the hibernation period and lifespan of this beetle I'm not in any rush, so could wait until later in the year (or even early next) if needed.

Thanks!!

From another breeder that had a small male with some minor issues.

I don't think they had any others available at this time.

I will likely sell extra adults or larvae in the spring assuming all goes well.
