Flake soil making

Hello from malaysia!! I want to start to make my own flake soil but i can't obtain oak or beech pellets/chips are they're any other types of hard wood i can use?

Did you find the pellets to make it with? Otherwise you have to get a machine to make sawdust from logs.

Actually i just bought sawdust its super cheap here as they're alot of wood working shops here and i could get like 10 kgs for 30 myr

Ive been making a batch since ive posted the original forum thingy and its been going good (its starting to smell correct!!)
