Anyone ever been bit by their larvae? I heard they give a nice pinch. Luckily I have not experienced a bite yet. However, I took a bite from an adult Dorcus titanus palawanicus, and that was not pleasant.

 
Yes!! Lol, I have some Chrysina Beyeri larvae and they are not fond of being touched! Pinched so hard I couldnt even gently pull him off. He held on for a good five seconds before letting go.

 
Nah, it bit hard but not that hard. I think it's an L2 so I'm sure it'll have some more bite later on! Lol None of my other larvae bite if I touch them for any reason though.

 
No bites or pinches from my larvae (yet), but I got a good nip from a big female death-feigning beetle the other day. Surprised me, I've never had one of those try to take a chomp at me before!

 
Haha! Guys, just imagine getting bit by a huge L3 rhinoceros beetle larvae, that must hurt. @arizonablue I wonder why it bit you!

 
I've never been bit by any of my larvae, although my Dynastes Hercules Hercules larvae seem to always actively try to bite me.

 
One of my Dynastes grantii larvae was biting the paintbrush when I was getting mites off of it. Pretty funny!
