I may be getting a few of these soon; What is their care like? Should I provide a sandy or mulchy substrate? Will the larvae need special food or can I use grains?
I'm working on finishing up a darkling book. Chances of success rearing like Tenebrio are near zero but there may be ways to rear in a related product. There are many different Eleodes and some are very easy to keep while others are difficult or impossible.
