dermestid beetle larva vegetarians?

Is there any way to raise a dermestid beetle larva on a vegetarian diet? or should I put a dead insect or something in there? I ask because I am a vegetarian and have now meat in the house... I wanna keep it!

I have a small colony of dermestids that hitchhiked in on some feeder insects. I've been feeding them freshly dead insects. They seem to be doing fine

LOL the cheese is just what i would suggest if your a vegitarian not what i use i use high protien dog food.I'm also the creater of one of the best dermestid beetle forums around.
