Coleoptera in Australia

Hello, I just moved to Cairns in QLD Australia.

I like to search Coleoptera, especially Lucanidae species.

I want to find Lamprima latreilli, Phalacrognathus muelleri, Lissapterus obesus.

I really want to observe these wild life in real!!

Does any one have good tips about these kind of beetles? 

Also are there any other interesting species of coleoptera? 

I want to find many interesting beetles as much as possible through temporally life in Australia!!   

 
Sounds like it would be great to hunt beetles in Australia, the roaches are pretty great too.
