CHRYSINA BEYERI FOR SALE

A beautifully large scarab from Southern Arizona, adult beetles are bright green and sport purple legs.  They feed on your usual rotten wood, compost and leaves as larvae though adults are leaf eaters and feed on oak.

So I'm interested, but winter is going to be hitting here in Maine and I dont know how I would be able to feed them fresh oak leaves.

You shouldn’t have to worry for now, eggs take about a year to reach a fully emerged adult 

for now all they require is some conpost and rotten wood which you should be able to find before winter starts 

 
if fresh oak leaves are not optional you can try different types of fruits preferably melons, mangoes, bananas and I have kept similar species which is Chrysina gloriosa that happily fed on beetle jelly instead of juniper leaves it’s usual type of food
