Changing food

When I feed my millipedes- when should I change it (food) I'm using lettuce I change it every 5 hours is this good or to much -- I spray water in the tank twice is this good?

NOT AN EXPERT but I've seen millipedes doing fine under rocks in moist bare areas of woodland, I remember last summer finding a rolled up millipede about as big as a half dollar coin (size when rolled up) which was cool, thinking of catching a couple millipedes and keeping them
