Can Hisser mites infect beetles?

I once had a hisser that had mites. I don't like them, but I guess it is usual with some hissers. Can these mites transfer to darkling beetles, or do they solely live on hissers? And is there an easy way to get rid of mites on hissers? I heard rinsing them off with warm water.

I've always heard that these mites are unique to the roaches, and can't survive on anything else.  You might not want to remove them, though -
