Can anyone help identify this for me for a TV programme?

A picture of a beetle filmed in Paraguay. Anyone know what it is?

That looks like a wasp. Even the most unusual wasp mimic net winged beetle shouldn't look anything like that.

This can't be a beetle.

The way the wings seem to be folded looks like a true bug, and im sure i can see the start of an ovipositor at the bottom left

I think it may be a hymenoptera if you look at the feet.
