Breeding Goliathus goliathus

Hello,

I am interested in goliathus goliathus but before I buy I want to know if there are people how are able to breed more generations ?

I am also interested if the breeding advice of Orin in his book "the complete guide to rearing flower and jewel scarabs"

is still correct and can I use this as my guidelines.

I do have some experience with beetles breeding

I know someone who kept Goliathus goliatus for half a dozen generations and many more generations of Goliathus albosignatus using the methodology I prescribe. I know two others who've had success rearing those species to maturity as well as Goliathus cacicus and Goliathus orientalis and goliatus x orientalis hybrids. You won't find honest success stories using other methodologies. That genus is not easy but if you're going to try you're better off starting with Goliathus albosignatus.
