Best substrate for Lucanus Elaphus larvae?

Still quite new to the hobby and I have some basic understanding of how things work but I’ve never kept Lucanus Elaphus and was wondering what is the best substrate for these? Is there a recipe and if not who should I buy the substrate from? 

 
No difference in substrates type at least within the genus of Lucanus, and they are not that sensitive. If you are asking for a brand in the US, here is a suggestion from me: Insect Brothers (Fort Lee, New Jersey) or https://insectbrothers.org
