Ratmosphere Moderator Moderator Aug 28, 2016 #2 I have beetle jelly from about a year ago. Do you think I can still feed it to a beetle?
Beetle-Experience Eudicella Aug 28, 2016 #3 Most likely. Check to make sure it hasn't discolored and that it smells sweet, but you should be fine - unopened cups can last for two years or more...

Tenevanica L2 Aug 28, 2016 #4 As long as it still had the plastic covering over the top the stuff has an indefinite shelf life.
Beetle-Experience Eudicella Aug 30, 2016 #5 Not sure about "indefinite", but they do last a very long time unopened. I say this because I just went through a case of older, mixed jelly and threw most of it out because it had separated or discolored.
