Beetle Jelly

I have beetle jelly from about a year ago. Do you think I can still feed it to a beetle?

Most likely. Check to make sure it hasn't discolored and that it smells sweet, but you should be fine - unopened cups can last for two years or more...

As long as it still had the plastic covering over the top the stuff has an indefinite shelf life.

Not sure about "indefinite", but they do last a very long time unopened.

I say this because I just went through a case of older, mixed jelly and threw most of it out because it had separated or discolored.
