I have beetle jelly from about a year ago. Do you think I can still feed it to a beetle?

If larvae eat heat treated substrate, does it stunt their growth? I produced males with big mandibles but small bodies using heat treated substrate.

This morning I sold my entire collection of beetles. I am getting out of the hobby. It was very exciting and to have shown people different invertebrates that they never seen before made me happy. I would like to thank everybody on this form who helped me through my journey. God bless!

Just today my Dynastes Tityus male died. It has been a year and a month. This surprised me! I'm very happy that I got to own him. I have an other male that is still living though. How long have you guys kept them in captivity?

My female Lucanus elaphus seems like she's stuck in her pupa. The legs are all free but the wings won't come out. What can I do to help her?

He is having trouble moving one of his back legs but hopefully he'll get better. I have a lot of exotic beetles but this one is by far my most favorite. Every time I look at this beetle it's like I lose a breath. I love it!
