My first time breeding beetles have been a sucsess, I collected eggs 1 month and 2 weeks after i put the trio in the box, and retrived the eggs. now a couple of days later i found my first larvae The species is xylotrupes beckeri, which looks just like a small X. Gideon.

Will get a picture of it later but got innoculation in my kinshi ^^ The wood is cherry, and the mushroom used is Shiitake plugs. This is mixed with bran, 4/5 wood 1/5 bran + water. kept at room temp in my cubbard.
