Scorpions? Jerusalem crickets?

Edit- based on the scorpion diet I think they’re a no go. We might look into Jerusalem crickets though.

My husband has very patiently supported my beetle hobby and even built me some display shelves. The other day he mentioned he wouldn’t mind having a scorpion but I know nothing about them. Could anyone suggest any good resources to learn about them and does anyone have any available? Thank you!

Just stay away from the little guys, or ones with massive tails and stingers.
Not always an accurate way of telling dangerous species. It's easier to memorize the buthid genuses that are dangerous.

Tityus, androctonus, leiurus, parabuthus, hottentotta.

That'll cover most of what's in the hobby that is dangerous.
