Very impressive!  What kind of substrate did you use for pupation?  The pupation stage is where I tend to run into problems with this species.

What beauties! If you decide to sell individuals at some point, let me know. I would be interested in a single male. :)

Thanks! I rear them in spent oyster mushroom sub the whole way through to adulthood.
Many thanks for the details - I was under the impression that this species needed a layer of clay soil for best results in pupal cell formation.  Considering your success however, clay is obviously not required.

I never use clay. I just make sure the bottom 4 inches of their rearing tub gets a little more moisture when I notice them starting to make pupal chambers. Never had any problems.

These are the last I'll have for sale until next Winter. I do have a minor male I forgot to list for sale. He's probably only about 45mm and the only one with out a female. A real dink compared to his brothers! PM me if your interested in him.

Just wondering, how long do they usually spend in their pupal chamber before pupating?

A very long time, lol! I've never actually kept track of the exact length of time, but I've noticed them in their chambers inactive for a few months before pupating.
