Death Feigner Planted Tank

I was doing some cleaning today and I found an old betta tank we haven't used in years. I wasn't sure what to do with it, but after some suggestions from @Kevinswither and some inspiration from SerpaDesign on YouTube, I decided to put my Asbolus verrucosus, Cryptoglossa sp., other Asbolus sp., and an unidentified Zopherid in it, along with a little cactus I've had for a couple years. The majority of the substrate is potting soil, but I put a layer of sand on top, so don't worry about the cactus being planted in that haha. It's not the best, but I'm pretty pleased with it 😁

I'd definitely recommend it, vivariums are super fun. It might be harder if you want to breed tenebs in a desert vivarium since the plants and beetles have such different needs, but I'm certain it's doable.

Very creative!  I'm sure beetles have enough "street smarts" to avoid being stuck on cactus spines.  I don't have any real plants in my Teneb tank, but do have a nice artificial Jade plant from Pangea Reptile Supplies.  Sometimes the beetles use it as a climbing challenge!
